Information You Do NOT Provide to Us

All calculator inputs (salary amounts, hours worked, PTO balances, etc.) are processed entirely within your web browser. This data is never transmitted to our servers, never stored, and never shared with any third party. We have no technical access to what you calculate.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including:

• Log data: IP address (anonymized), browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and time/date of visit.
• Usage data: Which tools you open, how long you spend on the page, and general interaction patterns (collected in aggregate, not tied to individuals).
• Device data: Screen resolution, device type (desktop/mobile), and browser language settings.

Information from Cookies & Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may set cookies or collect data:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Third-party services we use to operate the Site (hosting, analytics, advertising) receive only the data needed to perform their function.

• Business transfer: If this Site is acquired by or merged with another company, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

HRPayCalc participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we earn a commission when you click certain links on this Site and subsequently purchase a product or service from that third party — at no additional cost to you.

Affiliated products and links are identified with "Sponsored" labels on our Site. Our editorial content and calculator results are never influenced by affiliate relationships. We only recommend services we believe are genuinely useful to our audience.

Current affiliate partners include: Gusto (payroll and HR software), managed through PartnerStack. Additional partners may be added over time and will be disclosed accordingly.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. 8. Your Rights (California Residents — CCPA)

Our lawful basis for processing analytics data is legitimate interests (Site improvement and security). Our lawful basis for advertising cookies is consent, obtained via our cookie consent mechanism.

10. Data Retention

Analytics data (via Google Analytics) is retained for 26 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not retain calculator input data because it is never transmitted to us.

11. Third-Party Links

Our Site contains links to third-party websites (including affiliate partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

12. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we do collect. Our Site is served over HTTPS. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be indicated at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
